Last June 13th, the second online session of the TechTur Legal Series took place with the help of Mylegalinbox colleagues. These are quarterly training pills focused on the legal and fiscal areas in our sector.



During this second session, two topics that have a direct impact on the development of the activity of companies in the traveltech sector were discussed in detail:


On the one hand, the Digital Services Act. At this point we were able to see how this new European regulation affects traveltech companies, including online booking platforms, metasearch engines and experience marketplaces. 

On the other hand, there was talk about the "Law Project of Customer Service", while reviewing the cases that are being debated to be included in a new national law project regarding customer service, which will directly impacts the tourism sector.


Finally, space was left for consultations in relation to the aforementioned topics, so that members could understand more clearly how these two regulations will affect them.


From the Cluster we are looking forward to start preparing a third session for the last quarter of the year, with new legal and tax topics that could be interesting for the entire value chain of the sector!
