Last week took place Blockchain Week of the Tech Tourism Cluster, a series of online sessions concentrated in 4 days in a row, on Blockchain applied to the 'traveltech' sector.
The initiative arises from the working group on Blockchain and Web3, in order to bring one of the most disruptive and secure technologies that exist, to all members of the Tech Tourism Cluster.
The sessions, led by experts in the field, were organized over 4 consecutive days, with a duration of one and a half hours per session, and as follows:
🔹17/06 - Introduction to blockchain: from wallet to decentralization
In charge of Hospitalidad Emprendedora
Introductory session to learn the basics of Blockchain and Web3: learn more about digital wallets, Smart Contracts, decentralization, gamification, robotics or artificial intelligence.
🔹18/06 - Discovering business cases applied to the travel sector
In charge of Nubemsystems and Inlea
Session to discover real cases applied to the 'traveltech' sector, as well as ideas to optimize costs and increase customer confidence. We talk about automating processes with Smart Contracts, improving accuracy and freeing up resources. Introduction of cryptocurrencies to the market.
🔹19/06 - What are the legal and fiscal limits in blockchain transactions?
In charge of Mylegalinbox
We know the current regulations that regulate blockchain transactions and how they are taxed. Identification of associated legal risks and recommendations to ensure legal compliance.
🔹20/06 - Use case among the participants and horizon of the Blockchain WG
In charge of Hospitalidad Emprendedora
Use cases and emerging trends on blockchain technologies applied to tourism, through concepts such as reservation 3.0, verified reviews or traceability
