On October 29th, we held the session "Innovative Solutions in Shared Value," where we learned first-hand about some of the initiatives from Tech Tourism Cluster members contributing to sustainability in the tourism sector.

🌱 First, we had a presentation by Angela Bustillos, co-founder and CMO at eXplorins. She explained how their loyalty and rewards program SaaS incentivizes tourists to make responsible decisions. We also saw how, throughout the years they’ve been working, they have never lost sight of their social, economic, and environmental impact vision.

🌱 Afterwards, we participated in a discussion with Gerard Costa from Anigami Experiences, Daniel Orobitg from Royal Hotels Barcelona, and Jordi Massons from Effiwaste, on a panel moderated by Israel Blanco from Cactus.
During the debate, they shared the challenges they faced when designing and implementing innovative shared value solutions within their companies. They also discussed how technologies like AI and IoT have facilitated processes and the implementation of these solutions.

All participants agreed on the importance of collaboration among companies and the need to build a community to make tourism a sector more committed to shared value.

It was an enriching experience, creating a participatory atmosphere where attendees could also share their perspectives.
