From the Tech Tourism Cluster we participated once again in a new edition of the "International Tourism Fair (Fitur)", the most relevant tourism fair in the national panorama, which this year was held from January 22 to 26 at IFEMA , Madrid.


The fair is a key meeting point for the tourism sector and a unique opportunity for relationships and synergies between 'partners' within the same sector. At the same time, it allows the entity to position itself as a 'traveltech' reference and also to give visibility to the members of the entity.


In this edition and like last year, the organization has had its own stand in hall 8, where we have welcomed a total of 15 partner companies of the organization that are leaders in the tourism and technology sector.

Among the innovative technologies that have been exhibited at the cluster stand in this edition, the use of artificial intelligence for the automation of hotel reservations by voice or the search for lost objects in hotels from Bookline, hotel equipment management software such as niikiis, PMSs and booking engines such as Prestige Software or GNA Hotel Solutions, WiFi services from Wifirst, "phygital" experiences (solutions digital and physical hybrids) such as Wipass, use of cloud systems such as Obehotel Cloud by Efimatica, or software for travel agencies such as Beroni.


In addition, we had the honor of having Mr. Jaume Baró, Secretary of Business and Competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya, visit the cluster stand, who shared with the organization his impressions of a new edition of FITUR and was able to discover first-hand the reference companies in Catalan tourism technology.


This participation allows the Tech Tourism Cluster to continue working on the strategic challenge of internationalization, exporting Catalan technology to the world. 🌎
